Robert McNamara served as Secretary of Defense under President Kennedy and President Johnson; he was 93 years old. Most remember him as Vietnam-era Defense Secretary but he also had an impact on Detroit, specifically Ford Motor Company.

In a recent study published by Forbes, Detroit placed fourth in most family-friendly U.S. cities. Forbes studied the 40 most populated metropolitan areas to determine which were most and least affordable for families.
