In an unprecedented move, the Detroit Historical Society is opening its archives for one night only! Guests will enjoy a light strolling reception in our transportation storage facility, then enjoy guided tours through the archives.

Originally called Decoration Day, Monday May 25, 2009 is a day to remember the brave men and women who have died serving our nation. To date, Michigan has lost 167 service members in Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom.
