You don’t have to travel to Miami to take a cruise. All the way from Orange, Texas by way of Nova Scotia and the Gulf of St. Lawrence is the Detroit Princess. She services as many as 1800 passengers on party cruises and calls the Detroit River home.
For the boating enthusiasts, the Detroit Princess is 222 feet long, 88 ft high, has a breadth of 62 feet and a top speed of 10 knots. Featuring large outdoor viewing areas it’s a unique way to explore Detroit’s riverfront.
The vessel is designed to look like a 19th century river sternwheeler and is better equipped than most freighters. Unlike most riverboats, the Princess has its own kitchen and cooking staff to serve you only the freshest food.
