Robert De Niro Spotted in Metro Detroit

[via msnbc.com] There were suspected sightings of famous faces in Utica Sunday during a movie-making event called “Dreamin’ Big.”

Robert De Niro was rumored to have been in character at the event.

De Niro is said to be starring in “Fair Chase,” a film set to begin filming soon in the state by a Michigan producer and Mirror Dog Production.

No production company official would confirm that the sighting was indeed De Niro.

There was also a silent auction that benefited the United Way of Southeastern Michigan, an open casting call and recruitments for electricians, camera operators, grips and lighting technicians.

The event was held near Hall Road and Van Dyke Avenue. Auburn Road between Utica and Cass roads was closed for the event.
